aik Immobilien Investmentgesellschaft mbH ("aik") has mandated Dr. von Coelln to perform the duties of an external ombudsperson.

Employees of aik as well as its business partners can contact this neutral body, which is particularly protected by the lawyer's duty of confidentiality, openly or anonymously, if they observe a potential violation of applicable laws or of the contractually agreed compliance regulations by an employee of aik. The ombudsperson will contact the reporter within one week after receipt of the report.

The reporter does not incur any costs for the correspondence with the ombudsperson - from the initial contact to the completion of the processing of the report. The ombudsperson checks the information for plausibility and, if there is sufficient suspicion of a compliance or legal violation, forwards it to the compliance officer and his/her representative after consulting with the reporter. In the event of a possible conflict of interest, for example if the report involves a potential infringement by aik's Compliance Officer, the report is forwarded to aik's management. Upon request, the anonymity of the reporter will be preserved towards aik; the identity of the reporter will not be investigated. aik has no claim against the ombudsperson for the disclosure of documents received from the reporter or produced by the ombudsperson in connection with the processing of the review. The compliance department or the legal counsel will investigate the matter, if necessary with the support of the ombudsperson, and inform the ombudsperson of the progress and outcome of the investigation. The reporter will also be informed of the outcome of the investigation, insofar as this is legally permissible, within 3 (maximum 6) months.

The ombudsperson is available to receive further information from the reporter and, if necessary, address additional questions to him or her arising from the internal investigations. In doing so, she will also take into account the concerns of the employees concerned and the regulations on data protection.

In agreement with the Compliance Officer, the ombudsperson may involve investigating authorities.

Insofar as the reporter has acted lawfully himself, aik will not take action against him or disadvantage him on the basis of his reporting. Any means of retaliation against the reporter by an employee of aik is strictly prohibited.
